From there, Chris made waves at legendary stations such as Radio Luxembourg and London’s Capital FM before landing a coveted spot at BBC Radio One. Quickly rising through the ranks, Chris became one of the station's most revered and popular DJs, captivating audiences with his wit, humour, and infectious energy.
Chris Moyles made history as the longest-serving breakfast host in BBC Radio 1's illustrious history, commanding the airwaves for a record-breaking 8 and a half years. During this time, he garnered a devoted following of 8 million listeners, solidifying his status as a radio icon. In addition to his radio success, Chris ventured into television, creating and hosting his own acclaimed show, "Chris Moyles’ Quiz Night," which featured a roster of big-name celebrities and actors.
Beyond his broadcasting achievements, Chris has also made his mark as an author and musician. As a two-time Sunday Times best-selling author, he has captivated readers with his charm. Additionally, Chris has recorded and released two top 20 albums featuring his popular parody songs. Throughout the challenges of lockdown, Chris continued to connect with fans through online DJ events, entertaining thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok each Friday night.
This led to the creation of his live show “90s Hangover” which started touring as soon as events were allowed to happen again.
