Dean has cemented his place as one of the most dynamic broadcasters in the UK, hosting his own daytime show on BBC Radio 1 weekdays from 1-3.30pm. With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Dean's talent and charisma have earned him widespread recognition, including being awarded 'Top LGBTQ+ Broadcaster' by Attitude Magazine.
Beyond the radio waves, Dean's passion for music and Djing has led him to fill dance floors across the UK and Europe, with performances at iconic venues such as Ministry of Sound, The O2 Arena, and O Beach. He's a favourite among university crowds, headlining freshers parties at universities like Bath, Lancaster, and Cardiff. Additionally, Dean has supported UK pop legends Steps on their summer tour and graced the stages of festivals like the House & Garage Orchestra, Mighty Hoopla, and It's The 90's Baby.
In 2024, he launched his brand new show ‘Dean McCullough’s Pop Machine’ - the ultimate journey through pop music, taking fans through the decades from the 80s to the present day. The show debuted at Manchester Pride and Dean collaborated with venue operators Drake & Morgan on an exclusive Pop Machine brunch concept. Pop Machine is set to unite the dancefloor with lots more shows planned in 2025 and beyond!
