Levi Roots, one of the UK's most successful entrepreneurs and best known for his Reggae Reggae Sauce on Dragon’s Den, which saw unprecedented success almost overnight, and has gone from strength to strength since. His journey into the culinary world was inspired by his love for music, and he has always combined his two passions, cooking and music, inspiring his mantra, ‘Put some music in your food!’
A popular household name, he has also appeared on various TV cooking shows such as This Morning, James Martin’s Saturday Morning, and BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen Live as well as recently starring in the successful return of Celebrity Big Brother on ITV.
Levi has toured the world, performing with icons such as James Brown, Maxi Priest, Dennis Brown, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Michael Rose, and Black Uhuru. He has also been nominated for a ‘Best Reggae Act’ MOBO Award. In 2024, Levi brought his energy to Pub in the Park events, and with more shows scheduled for 2025, he continues to share his love for music with live audiences. Levi brings his passion to the DJ booth with a fusion of Classic Reggae hits, Ska, 2Tone, Rock Steady, Lovers Rock and 90s Dancehall that we all know and love, with his hit show ‘Reggae Reggae Sound System’.
